Amidst the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, news is that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is all set to publish a new collection of his war speeches. The book is titled ‘A Message from Ukraine’; it has 16 speeches which are selected by the president. Zelenskiy has also written the introduction in which he shares his learnings since the beginning of the war with Russia earlier this year.
Talking about the book, Zelenskiy said “supporting Ukraine is not a trend, a meme or a viral challenge”. He added, “If you want to understand where we are from, what we want and where we are going, you need to learn more about who we are…This book will help you do just that.”
‘All of the president’s proceeds from the book – at least 60p per copy of the print edition sold in the UK – will be donated to the United24 fund. Run by the government of Ukraine, money from the fund is allocated by government ministries to cover their most pressing needs,’ reported The Guardian.
‘A Message from Ukraine’ will be published by Penguin Random House in November 2022.
