Five drone strikes hit Kyiv
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said five drone strikes were recorded in Kyiv this morning.
Mr Shmyhal wrote on Telegram: “This morning, Russian terrorists once again attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in three regions.
“In particular, five drone strikes were recorded in Kyiv.
“Energy facilities and a residential building were damaged.
“The aggressor also launched missile strikes on critical infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions.
“Hundreds of settlements are de-energised as a result of the attack.
“Currently, all services are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore power supply.
“Each region has an anti-crisis response plan.
“In order to stabilise the energy system, we ask Ukrainians to consciously and unitedly approach the economical consumption of electricity, especially during peak hours.
“We will survive. We will overcome everything. We will win.”
