Sandeep Reddy Vanga reveals team ‘Animal’ watched Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ together while shooting; expresses his desire to work with SRK | Hindi Movie News

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is receiving immense love and appreciation for his latest release, ‘Animal’. While the director has worked with Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in Bollywood, he recently expressed his desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan.
In an interview with India Today, the filmmaker opened up about the film and mentioned that there is one Khan who is on the top of his wish list.He revealed that he is a huge fan of SRK. Vanga also shared that the entire team of ‘Animal’ went to watch ‘Pathaan’ in the theatres while they were shooting for the film. He also admitted to watching his last release, Jawan’. Sandeep added that he will lap it up if he gets a chance to work with SRK in the future.

Meanwhile, projections suggest that ‘Animal’ is poised to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office during its opening weekend, with an anticipated Rs 50 crore coming from the Indian market alone.

Although the official figures for the opening day are yet to be disclosed, estimates indicate a predicted collection of Rs 40 crore. Despite being certified ‘A,’ the film is expected to draw audiences nationwide, particularly from fans of ‘Arjun Reddy‘ and ‘Kabir Singh.’

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. It locked horns with Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ at the box office.

On the work front, Sandeep will shoot with Prabhas for ‘Spirit’ – a film which will see him don the khaki. He also has a film with Allu Arjun that has been announced, a title for the same is yet to be revealed. Prabhas will shoot for the project next year in June and Allu Arjun will shoot for his film at a much later date.
