Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are on sale now globally and some have already received their handsets. The bigger model, Pixel 7 Pro, is Google’s premium offering and it gets a massive 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO display with 120Hz refresh rate, which can go down to 10Hz. But it seems the display has some problems. New users are reporting that they are experiencing scrolling issues with the display of the Pro model.
A Redditor claims that the scrolling on the Pixel 7 Pro feels inconsistent. He explains that sometimes the screen scrolls faster than expected while at other times he has to scroll all the way or down. A separate bunch notes that the ‘inconsistent’ behaviour is apparent when they compare the behaviour of their older handsets.
Gadgets Now can also corroborate this behaviour. Two of our team members, one of which is reviewing the Pixel 7 Pro, also have experienced odd scrolling behaviour. While sometimes the scrolling is smooth, at other times – such as while swiping through apps – there is peculiar behaviour on the screen.
As per Android Police, it could be possible that the display of the Pixel 7 Pro is calibrated differently from other phones. Another possibility is that a few users are upgrading from a lower refresh rate display and they must be noticing a sudden change in the whole experience of scrolling at high refresh rates.

Updating the phone fixes issue for some
Some users report that they faced similar issues but they installed a system update which fixed the problem for them. It is recommended that all users should install all updates on their new handsets.
