Aamir Khan, Vijay Deverakonda, Shah Rukh Khan: Actors who returned their fees after the debacle of their movies

Shah Rukh Khan, it seems, has done this quite a few times in his films. According to reports, the superstar refunded some money to the distributors after his film, ‘Asoka’ and ‘Paheli’ failed to impress the audience at the box office. The ‘Pathaan’ star also reportedly returned 50 percent of the distribution cost to the producers after Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ failure. Talking about the film, King Khan had said in a statement, “I don’t think the film has done as well as it should have. I am personally disappointed with that.” Reports are also rife that the actor even returned 30 percent to the individual distributors and 12 crore to NH studios after ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ tanked at the box office.
